Make decisions looking at the bigger picture.
Believe it or not there is more information, even what content a user was exposed to with in the funnel or app. This greatly affects the cost.
Also if the user was touched several times with an ad, it will cause anomalies where it will look like certain ad campaigns are doing well, but the fact remains the user was touched by several ads.
So you wouldn't even know the TRUE cost.
Recommendation Engine for E-Commerce
Design an engine for e-commerce or service based businesses.
With recommendation engines you will most likely keep users engaged by presenting products and services out of the hundreds from your catalog(s). These engines will have a response based on the data available of incoming leads.
By improving the user experience you can develop unique individualized experiences that will keep users wanting more and to come back to see whatโs new.
For example...
If a customer already purchased a product previously the engine could recommend what items the customer is most likely to buy next.
You could also add certain current events to enhance what products and services are being presented such as an upcoming birthday, holidays, anniversaries, etcโฆ
So the recommendations would be designed around not only historical behavior but products and services that fit the occasion unique to the user.
Itโs like having a customer service bot present and carry the user experience by presenting potential products that may interest them based on varying factors.
