Understanding Market Groups 😕
One product can be meant for several consumer types. This is why it is important to develop market segmentation.
For example… When selling or renting a home. There are a few groups that may buy or rent the same exact property for different reasons. By understanding these reasons you can tailor your messaging to converse with each group.
Selling or wanting prospects to rent out your property may be inefficient without the proper data.
❇️ A single mother, may want to rent a home near a daycare center
❇️ A family with a size-able income may want to buy or rent a home near malls and shopping.
❇️ A college student may want to rent under a specific price point with a property near nightlife.
The common mistake I see with some advertisements are running a general ad, saying, “Hey, here is a place to rent”.
With data you can understand if the lead aligns with the property or product itself.
What is the 5 year expectancy or churn of the lead that may rent this specific property?
Marketing is a conversation, in order to communicate effectively you have to know who your audiences are in alignment with the same product and service.
